Note: This online tool is meant to scaffold students through the process of researching, learning, and teaching about a culture in which they do not live. Employing an inquiry-based approach, the website delves into the ethics behind teaching or presenting about a culture when it is displaced from its original context and purpose, and it encourages students to make thoughtful choices in selecting reputable sources, while teaching them about the Herero culture and music in the process.
